The Posh Palate Catering Company offers unique and affordable gourmet catering services to the residents beach house occupants and businesses of Eastern North Carolina.  Founded by Karen Miller, the former owner of Sweet Peas Cafe, in downtown New Bern, North Carolina, The Posh Palate provides off-premise catering services.  We also handle rentals; including tents, chairs, tables, custom linens, etc.  We will help you choose the perfect venue for your event as well.  

 

We also provide complete staffing services, event coordination services and Day Of Coordination (DOC) services.  It is our mission to take the stress and worry off of you and to make your event a day to remember.

A new service we offer in 2023 are private event beach house meals! Breakfast, lunch, dinner for 4 up to 100+ - we can create a wonderful spread for you & your guests.

Over 25 years ago, Karen first launched The Posh Palate Caterers to her discriminating clients in New York.  She developed a growing following from Manhattan to Eastern Long Island.  She will make the seemingly complex process of planning your event simple for you.  On your special day, Karen will handle all the details and ensure the party goes according to your wishes, leaving you to simply enjoy your day along with your guests.
